About This Excursion
Paradise Valley earns its name from its unusually lush, green scenery — a striking contrast to the dry coastal plains surrounding Essaouira. This full-day excursion follows the coastal road through a string of authentic Berber villages that see relatively few tourists.
Along the way, you'll stop at a women-run argan oil cooperative to learn about traditional production methods, before continuing into the valley itself to take in its distinctive landscape. Lunch (extra cost) is typically taken at a local spot along the route.
It's a quieter, more off-the-beaten-path alternative to some of our other Essaouira excursions, ideal for travelers who want a genuine slice of rural coastal Morocco.
