About This Excursion
This full-day excursion heads south along the Atlantic coast to two very different towns. Safi is Morocco's pottery capital, home to generations of workshops producing the country's distinctive colorful ceramics, while Oualidia is known for its calm lagoon and some of the freshest oysters on the coast.
After exploring Safi's pottery quarter, the route continues to Oualidia for a seafood lunch (extra cost) overlooking the lagoon, before heading back through the Talmest mountains and a stop at a women-run argan oil cooperative on the way to Essaouira.
It's a great choice if you want to combine craft culture with coastal scenery and a proper seafood lunch in one day.
